About Jeffrey Maibach

Jeffrey Maibach is a licensed teacher in Ohio and holds a Pupil Activity Permit. He possesses the qualifications to teach a wide variety of social studies topics, including American history, world history, sociology, and psychology. He is also knowledgeable about classroom management, creative lesson planning, and curriculum development. Jeffrey Maibach holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. After a brief stint as a substitute teacher in the Logan-Hocking School District in Logan, Ohio, Mr. Maibach began his full-time teaching career as a social studies teacher at the Highland Local School District in the town of Sparta, Ohio.

At the Highland Local School District, Jeffrey Maibach was recognized for his dedicated work with students, a two-year tenure as the Social Studies Department’s Chairperson, and service on the textbook review, fundraising, school improvement, and curriculum development committees. He taught classes on numerous topics, including Cold War history, economics, and government. Jeffrey Maibach was also involved in the District’s athletics programs, serving as Head Coach for the Highland Junior High football team, the boy’s junior varsity basketball team, and the girls’ varsity basketball team. He was additionally served as an Assistant Coach for Highland’s varsity football team.

Currently, Jeffrey Maibach is a substitute teacher for grades 7 through 12, and serves as an Assistant Coach for Bloom-Carroll’s varsity football team. He is also a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. Mr. Maibach resides in Johnstown, Ohio, and in his free time enjoys football, basketball, music, and video games.
